Got DSA offer from another school. PSLE scored 269 (+3). Applied to RI sup intake and waiting for result. Reported to the DSA school today but dnt know whether need to buy the DSA school's uniform/books as still waiting for RI result. Any advice?

Maybe check with RI when is the latest date the result will be out?

I heard from RI General Office that it be out on 28 Dec.

Do anyone received confirmation on appeal with a Score of 260 in supplementary intake for RI.

RI mentioned there will be GAT tomorrow around 9 am. Still no confirmation yet ???

True... As many Kiasu Parents are still not sure why the COP went up to 261 disappointing many kids.... This year scores are similar to last year.

Hence this becomes a hot topic as still there is no reply from RI on Supplementary intake .....

Thanks Bbee. Just finished reading the ST article on page A3. It is an interesting article and so true!! I have observed for a few years now how the 23x or 22x scorers ‘co-exist’ with the 26x in a challenging and unforgiving IP environment…

How does the EESIS/ GEP grant thing work ?

On 3/1/12 must submit cheque or cash for school fees etc right ?
So pay full first then they will give reimbursement ?

You should just be paying the fees less the EESIS amount. Plus whatever miscellaneous fees. You should have been given a table of school fees by your school.

There are 2 categories of students amongst the lower scorers: the bright ones and not so bright ones. The bright ones may eventually make it if they work hard. The reason that they failed to excel during PSLE is that they spent too much time on training. The not so bright ones, in my opinion, are quite clueless actually. I observed that during their project discussion in my house.
