You can place the name tag slightly above the school crest. You can also stitch the name tags on instead of ironing. This way, you can reuse the name tags when you change the uniforms for your child.

Yes I will suggest stitching instead of ironing because it’s more secure and can reuse.

I "aga aga", use the school crest as a guide. As long as its not awkwardly too high, too left or right.

My child attends Science lessons at Learning Lab. The centre teaches ahead of the school syllabus, thus the child will have some basic knowledge before the school teaches them, allowing the child more time to grasp the concepts. There is also a lot of revision (mostly done during lesson time). There will be a few worksheets each on MCQs and open ended questions for each topic. At the end of the term, there will be revision tests and mock exams.

The "downside" is that Learning Lab tends to over-teach and some concepts beyond the syllabus will be covered. While this may be good for general knowledge, there is also a chance that the child may get confused. This is a matter of perspective.

You may wish to discuss with your child’s P4 Science teacher before making any decision. The teacher will probably know your child’s weakness and can recommend you to go for tuition at a tuition centre which uses a particular style of teaching, e.g. more experiments.

PCPS apparently allocates the children to different classes randomly (there will be a range of pupils with different surnames in each class) at P1. The child will continue with the same class from P1 to P2.

Any idea when they would be selling the school uniforms and socks at school before school reopens?

I called the vendor... They say will be selling uniforms tomorrow at sch... 9am to 2pm... But they cannot confirm if stocks will be available.
