My DS and I went for a trial run to take public transport to school this morning. We went to the bookshop to buy shorts but were told the shorts may arrive after 2pm. I reserved 2 shorts and they said they would call me. But didn't. Will call tmr to confrim for DH to pick up.

We were probably there earlier in the morning - at that time, RI Popular didn't know the stock coming in afternoon, so the girl there told me will be in by this Friday. On the way back, then the phone call came to say it'll be today after 3pm. Aiyo, really waste my time and bus fare!

Yes, I also reserved PE shorts liao - tmr collect.

Was actually at RI in the morning to submit HMT form (office called me yesterday and say not taking also must submit). Went to Popular RI to see if PE shorts are in. Was told will arrive by this Friday.


Then, on the way back, Leadway (supplier of PE attire) called to say the PE shorts will be in after 3pm. :stompfeet: Now I got to go back tmr to get PE shorts. If I've only known, should have waited till afternoon then go submit my form to save me the trip.

So, if you didn't manage to get PE attire like me (out of stock during registration day), you can do so tmr.

It is walking distance from Bishan MRT. About 10 to 15 minutes easy walk.

At RI, those taking HMT do not sit for O level MT at the end of Yr 3. They take the O level HMT at the end of Yr4.

Actually I feel it's better to alight at Marymount (sheltered walkway to RI) & RI is just right outside the MRT station. But got to walk through JC block but I feel it's safer to walk in sch compound than Bishan MRT way.

At RI, those taking HMT do not sit for O level MT at the end of Yr 3. They take the O level HMT at the end of Yr4.

I am quite sure my DS will be taking the O level MT at end of sec 3, as a requirement for the HMT student, and will be doing the O level HMT at end of sec 4
