If one is friends enough with the administrator, it's not impossible to find out how many PVs there are. But at this time, it should be impossible to know how many vacancies are available during 2B - if there are suddenly a lot of alumni signing their children up, or many students with siblings born in 2006, the number could swing quite drastically. It's even worse for clan associated schools, number of clan members and then number of grassroots signing up is yet another unknown.

hquek, sorry not being detailed enough. I mean actual number of PV compared to estimated phase 2B vacancies (based on history). But of course actual phase 2B vacancies will be due to phase 1*,2A takeup rates.

But going to be a scary (and disappointing/nerve wrecking) year for many.

Sorry then, I don’t monitor. Did you check out the ksp past stats? that I feel is a pretty good indicator if there is going to be balloting.

Wasn't called up for interview, don't think she even got a letter.

No reason given, I thought it may be due to her being out of 2km, but that is my guess only.

They called me at noon cos I called the school 2 weeks ago to check the status. If I am not wrong I think all of us will know by end of this week or next.

I'm sorry to say this but usually they will call you for an interview rather than call you to tell you that results will be out soon...it probably means the interviews are already in progress now

Don't feel sad, there is always the hope that they might still call you later and accept you as PV. Btw you are staying <1km to NYPS? if yes, you still have another chance to try at P2C.
