      Hi,

I was at JEI PSLEMATH last weekend. The material looks interesting. Thinking of putting my P3 there. Any latest feedback?
      Casio123,

My P2 DS joined PSLEMath in Sep this year. AMK is nearer but timing doesn't fit so joined MP branch instead. So far she is enjoying the class and she now seem alot more comfortable doing word problems.

Two of my children joined Rebecca in July. She was clear then that my P6 DS teacher was not a graduate when my hubby asked her. She did not hide that fact but she did explain that her teachers was trained in their HQ.

Anyway, her team of teachers are very dedicated. My DS had joined a few centres prior, I must say that this one is different. Prior to PSLE they drill my DS past year school papers every week on a separate day in addition to her usual tuition day. Although it is a free drilling lesson, my DS told me the lesson was pretty intensive. My DS said she like the lesson because they do only problem sums which is her weakest. Her teacher will teach them the first Question then she will need to practice the next few herself. After that, her teacher will teach the next question which is a different type. She will then practice a few.

My DS scored 63 in SA1 and managed to get a A in PSLE. I am glad with the switch to JEI PSLE MATH programme. I am certain the weekly drilling class and the focus and structure of the programme played a significant role in helping my DS improve in a short period of time.

I believe there is no perfect tuition centre / tutor.

But as long as it suits my child and i can see results, this is all that matters 🙂

              hi,

Seeking your advice. Just called up the AMK branch to enquire on their 2012 P3 schedule. The 2 teachers who will be teaching will be either Ms Indra or Sze Doon.

Any of you have kids under these 2 teachers? If yes, can kindly share any feedback you have?

              :thankyou:

              Rgds,
              Ming

Could I know for this centre, do they focus only on model method? My DD prefers to use the unit or ratio method for certain questions. And how does it compare to Concept Math?

Wondering if we can get the workbooks if we are not attending the class? If yes, where can we get them?

My daughter is with them since July’10. In short term period my DD math improve a lot. And I think she has good foundation for her preparation to primary 1 this year. Beside that through this programme, her reading skill improve a lot. I believe a lot of math worksheet required her to read, analyse and answer
