          Hi Fur-ma,

That’s good news indeed. Which class is your dd in?

Wanted to ask fellow parents. How much pocket money will you be giving your child? (how much does the canteen food cost? din get to see the prices when i went there) Will you let him save whatever balance each day (eg into a piggybank), or just top up the difference the next day (eg if give $1 and there’s 20cents left, next day just top up 80cents)?

Or parents with existing students could share what you do?

Tell me about. P1 registration was the most emotional event for me this year - from the anguish of choosing between Kcpps and AT etc. Feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders. Now can settle down to getting her ready for P1. DD was excited too on hearing the news so I'm happy that she's happy 😂
              She'll be in Dilligence.

Btw, is the blouse to be work tucked in or left out? And is it buttoned all the way to the top? There's a design at the top n bottom which I thought meant that blouse should b left out.

I intend to give her $1.20. Told by admin that a bowl of noodles cost $0.60. If she has left over from the day, she can save it. Will give her another $1.20 the next day

I follow market rate. All my colleague here give their kids $1.50 per day irregardless if their kids spend it or not.

I’m wondering what should my DS wear on the 1st day. Uniform or PE?

actually in preparation for the activity, only need to read minimum 1 Eng and 1 MT book from the list given. The child is only required to dress up as 1 character. So no need to get all the books. If can't find the books, just browse bookstore or library for other story books that teach character. There are plenty around.

Can encourage reading habits using other books. So don't stress over getting these books. The festival is supposed to be fun.

Don't think it is worth buying the books. Costly and also a bit too easy for P1. After the festival, the book will just be sitting on the shelf collecting dust.
What books are these? I didn't receive any book list from the school admin. Only got some notes stapled together with the cover sheet pink in colour with the word \"Orientation\" on it.

I am still waiting for the school bus operator to advise pick up and return time. Has everyone here gotten the timings? I stay along Sin Ming Ave

It's a 2 sheet paper entitled \"Reading Programme 2012: Characters Alive!\" PM me if you don't have. Had a hard time trying to get the books from the library.

                      Girl's blouse is tuck out.
