CCA compulsory only fr P3 onwards. But CCAs such as band and chinese dance are also open to P1s and P2s. -

U mean the story book list?some of us have it scanned n r circulating... I bought the chinese books though... But haven't started on choosing characters for the assignment. English book im not using the reccomended list-getting another story from my personal library.Anyone managed to get the Characters Alive Eng and Chinese books? Popular does not carry and I understand the reservation list for Bishan library is long.
Also just to share. The school bus operator has told me that payment if 3 monthly and can pay by cash or cheque. The fare card will be given on the 2nd week of school and we make out the cheque and pass to our kids accordingly. My bus operator said 1st payment is for 2mths-jan and dec. din mention anything abt paying every quarter~~
as for cca,not too pleased with cca range...duno wat to choose...scared band too tiring for dd n shez not attracted to chinese dance...lol any1 to comment? -

Oh well dd survived the 1st day n so did I. Still rushing around getting stuff. Managed to get art bag from popular n passed to her during recess. Talk about last minute.
Anyone got time table? Don’t know what books to bring tmr n also to wear uniform or PE attire? Anyone from 1D can help -
Overheard another parent asking for timetable from the form teacher and was told there is none for now. Teacher also mentioned because the kids are forgetful, best that they bring all stuff, except textbooks, to school where Teacher will help to keep in class for them. Textbooks can’t coz parents will revise with the kid. I’m gonna do that for tomorrow, at most those that teacher won’t keep, dd will bring it back.
As for uniforms, nothing said, so i’ll just let her go in uniform. I don’t think the teachers will be so strict at this juncture.
