For my DD2, in the letter it is stated that parents are allowed to be in the school canteen during recess time, ie 0930-1000. They call it \"Observe your child at recess\" 😄

            different school different practise

            some schools only first day

some schools only first 2-3 days

            some schools for first week

I don’t think any school had allowed beyond first week.

Many schools only allow the parents to observe their child from the perimeter of the canteen. Can’t go in and buy food nor sit with the child, coz the canteen would be waaaaaaay too crowded!

The buddies will show your child how to buy food and get the correct change if any.

Have confidence, your child will be fine. The more anxious you are, the more nervous your child will be and hence less confident of his or her own ability.

My DDs school still practise the buddy system and it will last for one month. Parents are allowed to watch their kid in the canteen for the 1st 2 days only.

It coincidental that both my DDs are having the same recess time (9.30am to 10.00am) and My P1 DD2's buddy? ----------My P4 DD1! 😂

Normally the parents are allowed to be in the school canteen during recess for first three days…

My DD1’s school only allowed parents into the school on the first day be it drop off/pick up or recess time. 2nd day onwards, we can only drop them off at the gate and wave goodbye! But they have the P5s to guide them to the hall…so no problems I hope…
