Luckily I am too old to be asked such question during CNY in my mum's & IL's house except for not so close relatives(don't really get to meet them) or strangers. Even my neighbors also \"sian\" to ask me such question Liao.

Hi Mummy Just888, you are not alone. I’ve been asked this insensitive question TWICE in less than a month recently – both times by acquaintances/friends during social gatherings. Can expect more such questions from relatives this coming CNY…
