Yes, went to the bookshop over lunch hours just now. Super long queue……at the end, did not manage to buy anything as need to rush back to office. My girl told me very long queue during recess also.

Understand that Higher Chinese lesson will start next week, i.e. week 2. But CCA will only start week 3, so CCA bus will only start on week 3 too (instruction from school). So next week need to fetch my girl after her HCL lesson then….why can’t the school make the CCA bus start on week 2 instead?? :?

Btw, does any of you who takes the CCA bus have heard of this restriction whereby even after paying additional CCA bus fare ($30 for my case), we can only take max of 2 trips per week? Worried that come upper primary, HCL and CCA might already be 2 separate trips, what if there is extra/remedial lesson on another day??

I had this experience b4 during P2 i think. From then i asked my dd to buy all the excercise books needed for the following year b4 the Nov/Dec holiday and I buy all the textbooks from popular during the school holiday. This is how i avoid the queue.

The first few days are usually very chaotic. DD said there are students transferred from other schools wearing their former school uniform.

I have not heard of any restriction on the number of times one can take for the CCA bus. Usually come upper primary the one that is compulsary is CCA and the other important one is HMT (optional). Others are optional.

My daughter reported for P1G today.

Saw her during recess... Her buddy taught her how to buy food and brought her to the hall after that. She looked very happy .
