a child, you sound very sensible, responsible and independent. Good for you. Good luck for the new year!
Thanks for the compliments and well-wishes

Just to add to what a child has written:
Based on my experience I've concluded the following (for my year, at least):
101 Academic DSA non-SBGE + S1 Posting
102-108 Sports DSA (all DSAs from the same sport will be in the same class), an MEP non-SBGE class + S1 Posting
109-113 SBGE + S1 Posting Top scorers (in my year, this would be 269 and above)
113 MEP SBGE
101 has DSA sports girls as well this year;
108 has DSA Academic (Mainstream);
113 is a GEP class with MEP and SAP. -

I forgot the SAP part

But my year SBGE doesn't have any SAP pupils, only MEP. I think somehow SAP isn't too popular, and some of my friends who're great at art, attending classes out of school, drawing a lot in their free time, etc. choose to take Third Lang / no special program instead of SAP.

It's rather popular in my dd's year, with some applying to take it in Year 3, but not all made it though.

Also, I'm not sure about other classes, but among my classmates and friends, those who have dropped their Third Lang in Sec 1 or are not continuing their Third Lang this year in Sec 2 I can count on one hand, contrary to what I've been told at the beginning of Sec 1 that many drop out along the way :roll: :roll:

SAPians and MEPians. Is that what they're called? :rotflmao: Yes in previous years a lot drop out of their third lang at the end of term 1, term 2, term 4...

Why do you want to miss it? It's a good bonding time with your classmates. Also you'll be spending the time preparing for the concert the next day I believe. -
jtoh:
I believe we have had people miss it in the past but you really should not do that unless you have a medical reason or something because the experience is really amazing and the bond you share with your classmates and your classroom is really irreplaceable. You've survived the whole of Orientation for this camp!Little Brown:

Make the most of it.
