Aiyoh, languages and humanities are not my girl's forte.

Usually those who are good in lang are good in humanities, and those who are good in sciences are good in math too. Guess it's the arts vs science divide. šŸ˜„ Then you have the brainy ones who are unfazed by anything. :faint:

Hah, mine's not the brainy one. She aced all her sciences/math though. But A-levels is another ballgame... *sigh*. Praying.

Anything this discussion is now very OT . *hehe*

Accompanied DS by bus using the Dover Road route.

Went smoothly and since so many people get off at the bus stop, he should never miss it I suppose.
Then I change some buses and went to recee the back door along AYE.
Fairly deserted but maybe becos it was quite late by then.
They have prefects stationed at the back door.
This one if DS does not pay attention may miss the stop cos nobody stop there. But this route is more convenient for us and he probably can leave home 20 to 30 minutes later.

He managed to come home on his own.

Maybe you can accompany him using the new route a few times so he is familiar? Is the next bus stop (if he misses the one he's supposed to alight) very far away? Tell him the landmark to look for b4 alighting.

An extra 20 mins sleep makes a difference!

Last time when we shifted to a new place and I'd just had a new baby, I drew my elder boy a map showing the route home and what bus to take and where to change to another bus home. He made it back happily. HAHA. He was p5 then.

Along AYE bus stops quite far apart.
He is supposed to alight at the one opposite NUS university hall, if miss next one is opposite NUH already :yikes:

Not bad, considering the fact that u didn't personally go with him to show him the way...and considering his age. Your directions must be very clear then. :boogie:

                        Funx3:

                        Kids R Like tt ....
Once I was Waiting for a 20 min interval bus (after Missing the prev One) at the bus stop with my Gal, And Both Of Us ....
Watch the Bus Breezes By us after waiting for 20 min ....
Then We Turn to Each other, Point our fingers and Ask in Amazement,
                        \"Why Didn't U Flag the Bus?\" šŸ˜† šŸ˜†

And We Ended up Waiting Another 20 min for the Next Bus!
