agree!! this new bus services is very dis-organise… they only called me up on the 2nd jan to let me know the time for pick-up n drop-off. My DD used to take the bus at 7.20am with the previous bus services, now she have to be at pick-up point at 7.05am… worse of all, the driver told me that the drop-off point will be at Blk 680c bus stop, (coz my DD pick-up n drop-off different place), i waited since 2pm ytd till 2.50pm, then one of parents received a call from her DH saying that the kids are being drop-off at the previous point which is few blocks away!! how ridiculous it is… if my DD is P1, imagine how panic she will be…

Hi! Kabalevsky, my DS1 in P1 this year. It is quite exciting for me as well as my DS! I’m glad that so far, he likes the class and his teacher.


I am still considering to take up the bus, which hopefully they will be more organized. I will observe for few more days.

By the way, did you manage to get all the textbooks etc?

My DD2 is also P1 this year!

Yesterday me & hubby took turn to queue for the purchase of books. Gosh! It took 2.5 hours! :faint: :lightrod: As my DD1 P4 there is this English book that only can be purchased in school bookshop so no choice lor. The book shop lady and helper are very disorganised and inexperienced! :mad: :rant: :stompfeet: :frustrated:

Think for P1 there left only the portfolio which is out-of-stock as for the rest of the books, I have managed to get them during the school holidays.

sigh… how come it always happens?
Last time when my ds1 was on school bus they also had a lot of hiccups at the start of the year…

all these bus companies, with so many yrs of experience, why will problems still occur? don’t understand…

i hope it irons itself out soon! i remember waiting anxiously for my ds1 the first week of school in 2010 too!

ytd morn i was late because of dd who cried as i needed to leave house to send both boys to school. and when i sent ds1 to cps at 7.47am (already late), i still saw buses turning into the school carpark. so i know how late they are!

this morn, it was the same case for the kids in my estate. when we left our block, i saw his former bus friends waiting there. all other pr sch buses came and left. only ours!

i was thinking if i shd give them a lift but there were so many kids in my estate too. more than 10 as well, champs!

terrible, they have to quickly solve this.

The handbook was in stock yesterday. There were these 2 Malay daddies who are very helpful. They asked the bookshop lady to hand them the handbooks and they help to sell. So those who need to buy handbook only need not join the long Queue! :hi5:

Yeah, this school bus company really did a bad job yesterday. I do hope that today it will be better.

Thks for your feedback about the Coporation Pri Sch.I have a son who is P1 in Coporation this year.He is a hearing impaired child wearing hearing aids.
I found that there were always fighter jet flying in the sky with loud noises.I just wonder would it affect much for the children in the class rm when having lessons?And how is the teacher’s patient in school?Thks.

No worries with the fighter jet flying - my family has already immune to it!
As I am staying at the high floor, I can literally see it flying towards my flat from my living hall! :scared: As for the school itself, my P4 DD1 told me that the students are also used to the noise but teacher will stop and pause when the fighter jets flew past.
