that's what i dread.....miss those times they faithfully follow me every I go, to friend's parties, gatherings, events, etc.Life after PSLE ....... in a twinkling of the eyes, the sec/JC school days will be over....and some will head to NS / overseas uni ..... effectively the empty nest will happen soon after O / A level ... and if they grad overseas and work overseas, that is it ......
so, be mentally prepared
during December, my two kids have separate mission trips, school trips, church camp ....and hardly all at home at the same time ..... a foretaste of the day when they all leave the nest leaving the two lonely old folks....better get some hobby now -

My turn to miss DD on Friday when she has her overnight camp.

Oh dear. Seems like a few of the ACSI boys are falling sick, maybe due to the long hours of the orientation camp over past few days.
Some parents also reported that their DSs are tired at the end of the day.
Surprisingly DS1 does not seem tired at all for past few days.
If fact he and DS2 are making so much noise every night I’m worried the neighbours may complain.
Maybe it’s becos he was forced to sleep early for past few days compared to his sleeping time during the holidays. -

At CHS, orientation is whole day until 5.30pm. Sports Trials plus outdoor Uniformed group and adventure activities. Quite long day. Lots of marching, and push-ups. All the boys all very tired...then at night still cannot sleep HAHA. But I haven't heard of boys falling sick? THey only complain v tired and whole body ache.Oh dear. Thank goodness it's just overnight.
Only other time DD was away from home was the P5 camp. -

Of course have to, lah. It's all part of the Orientation Programme. Everyone has to participate. So chest ache, leg ache, arm ache, palm blisters - many pushups to do plus others, all in the hot sun. He said he would never join any of those sports/Uniform Groups. HAHA!

Since young DS1 has been a night owl, never sleep before 10.30pm.
