Just wondering if this price a norm in primary schools? Maybe Kabby can share since her ds1 in another school... :scratchhead:Hi
I agree that the price of the food is steep....cheapest is Mee Siam, $0.90 :yikes:
Looks like have to give about $1.50 per day :scratchhead:
Definitely an inflation from \"our times\" -

my friends' kids from elite school still has 70 cents and 80 cents pasta and noodles to buy....

my older son's school has 80 cents noodles too.
but they are very basic bowls of noodles. small bowl with just 2 fishballs some fish paste. i don't see a lot of veggies
my ds1 likes to buy mee soto cos it's not spicy but the chicken soup is fragrant. so that's 80 cents. however, as he is growing, he is now buying the $1 bowl - more noodles, more chicken meat.
however chicken rice costs $1.50 in his school.
i'll tell ds2 to buy noodles instead of chicken rice then!

thanks frontierer for the info on general office and FT letter.
troubled, you can use the handbook as a communication book with the FT too. so that has to be in the bag everyday. the kids use it to note down their HW and anything they need to bring as well.
the name tags are not done yet, is it? just checking… when are we supposed to get them? -
Hi hi
Thanks for all the info!
Didn’t see the letter from FT or I blur??
No news about the name tag, was about to ask too… -

Come to think of it, the letter might be a customised one by individual FT. Hence, your child's FT might adopt a different mode to communicate the same.Hi hi
Thanks for all the info!

Ermmm... I have the same question on nametags too... do you mummies remember submitting a name-tag order form on 17th Dec? I submitted mine to the General Office because bookshop said its not them, uniform also said its not them...

Now that the kidss are tagged according to their mode of dismissal, i.e. yellow sticker for Gate A, blue sticker for Gate B, and Green sticker for School bus I think, correct me if I am wrong… I was quite perturbed this morning to witness the security guard lady to strictly instruct the children to enter by the specific gate. Meaning if you belong to Gate B, and you came to Gate A, you would be told to walk to Gate B instead…

Thanks for the info. ...i didn't know that the blue sticker can only enter Gate B n so on. I chose Gate B for my dd dismissal point n as Gate B happens to be nearer to our house, dd entered thru this gate this morning. \"phew\" -
