Hi to all parents of Fernavale Primary 2012 P1 students!
May I know if anyone has already received the name tags that the kids are supoosed to pin on their uniforms?
We palced order on book-buying day (19th Oct to be exact) and have yet to receive anything at all.
The name tag vendor is Chop Kong Chong btw. -
It seems that this Fernvale Pri Sch thread is kinda slow.
My DD enjoyed her 1st day @ school.
For the 1st 3 days, parents are allowed to accompanied their kids right up to the assembly Hall @ Level 2.
For dismissal, timing is @ 1:15pm and parents are allowed to fetch the kids right from the assembly Hall.
On the fourth day, no parents allowed in the school, dismissal timing is @ 1:30pm
To be continued....

must be a fairly exciting day for you to see that your DD has settle down so well in her new school. may i know...is your DD going to any of the after school care?
-
hi TS Mummy, no after school care for my DD.
I guess I’m one of those fortunate ones who have my parents to help me look after my kids.
Tomorrow will be the 4th day, so no more accompanying the kid to the Hall, just have to drop her off @ the gate.
The school is also having a temperature-taking excercise tomorrow.
According to the circular letter given out by the school, the school should have given the kids an oral thermometer for tomorrow’s excercise, but the actual fact is quite the contary…no thermometer in sight.
Still wonderig whether to get my DD her own oral thermometer… -
Hi ah bee,
I collected the name tags yesterday at 2pm. The uniform vendor came to school at 2pm as advised by the staff in the bookshop. I was not notified when to collect the name tags, so I called the school admin to check. If you hv not collected the name tags, the form teacher will pass it to yr child. May I know which class is yr child in? My gal is in class 1-3.
Did you see the spelling list? The words are not easy n I don’t even know some of the words in my time. -
Hi Capricon
Yup, collected the nametags from the uniform vendor (gotta trouble my mum to do the collection)...kinda strange to me that they did not indicate in the beginning that we have to do the collection from the vendor... I was waiting for them to appear in my mailbox for the whole of December 2011.
Spelling list?....hmmm, I saw no spelling list yet. DD only brought home a 2-sheet Maths worksheet that she has completed in class and another instruction note by her Chinese teacher, Ms Liu....will check tonight.
My gal is in 1-7.

P1 4th day update!
Put on school uniform instead of PE attire, DD looked so sweet…
Dropped her off @ gate and she made her way to the assembly area on her own.
Bag still bloody heavy. -

DD bought back a form from her Chinese teacher to fill in her name, hobbies, best friend and stuff.
DD just told me that her form teacher said her class will be getting their time-table on 11-Jan. Wednesday.
