Ok thanks Mvm & jtoh for the confirmation. Mind if I ask what cca your gals are in and how do they do the selection? Oh, when will be the outcome of the selection? Paisay asked so many questions, as I am not familiar with the cca thing....
I'd rather not mention which CCA my dd's in because she values her privacy. But generally, the various trials and auditions would test the girl's ability in the CCA she's applying for. So for eg in netball they would ask you to play a few matches etc to test if you have the ability or potential. Oh and you have to be tall. πŸ™‚ For performing arts like choir you'll be asked to sing. Prior experience in the CCA is a bonus but not a must.

CCAs don't take place on Wed and Fri most of the time, so maybe you want to take it on a Wed some other term?(term 1 has house prac)Friday if you don't have 3rd Lang you can go. Oh and erm i think the ICT classes allow make-up sessions, as long as it's any day in the week:)

Fri is out as DD has to attend 3rd lang lessons. Oh, house practice only takes place in term 1..so term 2 to 4 no house practice?

They should end at around Term 2...I'm not sure.
OK thanks for update :)
Friend said it ends in Semester 1(meaning around...April or May?). There are 7 sessions, but not weekly. Sometimes they skip a week or so.
Thanks for latest update πŸ™‚ Appreciate your effort in helping us all here !

          what is ICT?
No password for inet yet right?
ICT is an acronym for Information & Communications Technology. The gals will be taught IT skills, which should benefit them in their project work etc.

DD already received her password for inet but to select time slots for ICT enrichment, there's no need for password. Only NRIC needed.

          Hi Tinkerbelle :thankyou:

LOL ! My dd is not concerned with hot or cold water, she is more worried abt the amt of time she is given to take a shower, she can take a whole 30 mins at home ! Sigh ...

i think since there is a shortage of toilet, the girls will have problem. unless they shower outside the toilet with their clothes on, seen that in the rgs chalet outing

                      I'd booked the ICT.

The password that I meant is for inet. Is it IC no? The leaders told their class that inet will be ready on thurs evening. The leaders just simply said using their IC. Tried to login using IC no, but cannot.
The password for inet is not your IC no. You'll be given your userID and password. DD received hers yesterday so most likely, you'll get yours today.

                        Hi Lenny,

                        You are welcome.

DD is interested in the Tribune & Debate but is still undecided which one to choose. πŸ˜‰

                        No Need to Choose ....
Take One as Main CCA and the Other as Merit CCA πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Good idea.....but the problem is both of these are offered as merit CCA only. Debate can only be offered as a core in yr 3. πŸ˜‰
