My boy was recommend to join cross country/track and field which he, DW and me all strongly object. :yikes:

Why are all of you against cross-country/track?

DS was never the sporty/athletic type.
The best he ever got for Nafa was a bronze.[/quote]But he was \"recommended\"....??

Training 3 times per week, including Saturday :yikes:
This on top of a uniform group CCA will be too taxing.

Uniform group - how many times a week? I heard like NCC is only 1x/week? But need to go back during holidays quite a bit.

If not cross-country, then what other CCA were you considering? Aren't most CCAs at least 2x or 3x/week?

              Thinking of something less physical.
Any club/society or performing arts (the CCA head said during briefing that most application for performing art will be accepted).

I think some of these "recommended" CCAs are the 冷门, type, got to get some of our kids to fill it up mah. Basis of recommendation is not transparent.

But if choose things like modern dance will be very physically draining also.

Actually we are quite interested for him to join the co op or maybe debate club.

For RI does a kid need recommendation to join fencing ?
It should be 冷门 enough but it's cool.
