mummy of 3:
Oh, what happened? Did she fall down?? Glad she is better now... No worries, don't think your DD1 teacher gave any homework. My DS has no homework for the weekend too. BTW, the teacher has given out the school time table. Every Tues and Fri is PE day. :boogie:My DD1 had a knock at the school hall on the 1st day of school and now the blue black is like a 50 cents coin and complain her leg is so pain (today then i know :slapshead: )...
Then today DD1 had fever (38.8) after i send her to school. FT call around 2.20pm and rush there to fetch her at 3.10pm... Haii
What a week for us...
Tmr going to take her to doctor...
Hope things will be better next week...

My DS didn't buy anything from the canteen for the 1st 2 days (I packed bread for him) though he wanted to buy packet drink from the drinks stall on the 2nd day. I saw him queueing up with buddy but was too late as the teacher has asked them to queue up to go back to class. So, on the 3rd day, he didn't bring his bread and water bottle to canteen and straight away bought Pokka drink. I didn't scold him cos I didn't want him to hide from me what he buys in school. He told me the drink is not cold. Then on the 4th day, he bought the Pokka drink again, this time a different flavour. *faint*hi mummy of 3,,,sori 2 hear that dd1 is not well today.... hope that she gets better tonite and save the trouble to see doc tomorrow.
1st day of school,, went to pick dd from school... as was early went inside the school to wait... oh my waited at the wrong staircase...only realised the mistake after 20mins.... dd was already in tear at gate A and the only student left waiting.
1st day at recess, dd bought a cup of cold drink after recommended by her buddy....i was not happy when i heard it. today bought a pack of snack.... this time she refused to tell me what she bought at recess...knowing that i will scold her. Warn her if she continues to buy junk food will pack food for her and no pocket money....
ZY_Mom........dd told me that the 29 years old chinese teacher is fierce... any feeback from your ds?
durian0096, your DD same class as my DS?? Sorry, can't remember. No leh, he didn't tell me the Chinese teacher is fierce. He just said today she scolded a boy who kept walking around in the class. BTW, your DD still can tell you she is 29yo. My DS didn't tell me anything... He just said need to bring the Chinese textbook and workbook to school everyday. And also to buy the xiao mu zhi zou ji but never said when to give the money. You have any idea? -

I gave my DS $1 everyday but think might not be enough if he wants to buy noodle and drink. Might increase to $1.50. But on the other hand, I might still continue to pack bread for him until he said no...mommies..
i received email frm my son form teacher. she told me that the school portal is not ready to be used by P1 students yet. In case anyone wonder how come cannot login to the school portal.
btw, can i survey how much pocket money you all give to your children? i asked my colleagues, some said 1.50 some said 2 dollar. so i tot i should give 2 dollars and my son spend all the money.. now i wanna revert to 1.50 and my friend said if i do so, my son wont be happy... cos she said if her mom do this to her, she wont be happy also... :stupid:
Just now, my SIL told me she gave her P2 DS1 $2 today and he came back with only $0.10 left. Asked her what he bought, she said he bought drinks from the vending machine. 1st time he pressed wrongly and came out a milo. He didn't want, so pressed again to buy another drink and the milo was taken away by a student... :yikes: Then her DD2 likes to go bookshop to buy stationery.. Now her house can open stationery shop liao... -
hi ZY_Mom.
yes my dd is same class as your ds…
she told me a boy always get scolded from teachers because too naughty…she says lucky didnt sit next to her…(the sitting is fix now… sits between 2 boys)

yes the chinese supplement is $10/- can give to teacher next week.
i think for pocket money is good to increase moderately… is easy to add on but to take away is harder…so start with small amt first…give too much $ ha ha will buy junk!!! -

My DS said he sat at 3rd row. Don't know how the teacher arranged (could be the relief teacher cos the FT was on mc the 1st day), my DS so short, sit 3rd row. Asked him he can see or not, he said can, so I just let it go. If not, I sure write an email to his FT. ha ha...
I don't know how's the classroom sitting arrangement like. My time was 2 by 2, now 3 by 3 ah?? I'll ask my DS tomorrow. Maybe can pm me your DD's name.
My DS wrote in his notebook is $12 - $18 for the Chinese supplement leh... :? Maybe I just drop an email to his Chinese teacher. Will let you know.
Ya, you are right. Give too much, later he anyhow spend, then I headache... Today I went Giant to buy drinks for CNY, I also bought Pokka packet drink. Told my DS to bring to school to drink, then he no need to go and buy... Cheaper... -
Hi all,
In case you are not aware, for P1 students, must bring Maths textbook and mother tongue textbook and workbook everyday to school. Was informed by the PSG chairman.
