Hi the Rafflesian spirit is very strong, great effort from the sec 1s and the psl. dd said it was awesome!. when i saw her after release, she looked pale. said did not sleep well, sleeping place too narrow. did anyone find the ventilation and air-conditioning not strong enough in the hall just now?

first thing dd did when we reached home was to take a shower to feel better šŸ˜‚
guess she will pig out early tonight.

monday will be the real start , and 'luck to the start'

enjoy your weekend rest ! šŸ˜‚

I agree sometimes our air-cons in the hall doesn't seem powerful enough. But well, i'm glad your DD enjoyed orientation! Sleeping place too narrow? How come! Our class even had space to leave the tables in the class!(but we have only 32 people, so...)

:rahrah: jiayou for the real start of school:)

          MummySTay:
Enjoyed the orientation concert put up by the girls this afternoon!

The Rafflesian spirit is very, very contagious!

Great job, PSLs and everyone else who made it such a success! :celebrate:
Haha you sure? I remember last year when we were doing the 'Unite' cheer the parents and siblings were like covering their years šŸ˜†

But yes all of us totally fall in love with Rafflesian culture over the camp! Like in the first few days when the rest of the school is cheering, you think they're loud and weird and you don't cheer much, just standing awkwardly. But by the end of orientation, hyper and high and stuff, you just like cheer your hearts out together. And it's so cool in the hall because it's closed and then the low sounds of cheering echo all around and the floors are sort of vibrating šŸ˜„ (haha I'm remembering all the fond memories of last year...)

šŸ˜„ glad the orientation is a success again šŸ™‚ But then the real school is starting šŸ˜“ It really is just the beginning of everything!

The P reminded the year 1s today that the honeymoon period is over! šŸ˜‰
            Lessons will begin on Monday!

It will be a hectic week with CCA trials coming up next week...

I think our 'honeymoon period' is ending too šŸ˜“ We haven't been getting much work during the first three days and stuff, and I think with CCA and RS and all starting next week .. the terrifying yet wonderful journey of Year 2 is starting...
