      Hi hipomum,
Heard from DD that she met you on Saturday. She wanted me to meet you but couldn't find me in the sea of audience... πŸ˜‰

The toilets might not be perfectly well-maintained and the mics might not always be loud enough, but there were many areas that impressed me.

Another thing that I really liked was the grouping of parents of the same class together. That was a marvelous idea! I took the opportunity to network...got to make friends with some parents of DD's classmates...exchanged contact details as well. Such friendly and humble parents...

In fact, friends were envious of us cos their children's school did no such thing. They would certainly have loved to network too, but the school did not provide them with such opportunities.

These contacts would come in handy, considering DD will have the same classmates for 2 years. πŸ˜„

Hi, Tinklebelle. Yes, met up your DD, in fact both our DDs seem to be getting along well. I wanted to meet up with you, but your DD couldn't spot you then. No worries, believe there is always another chance to meet up.

Some of the Raffles cheers are common between RI and RGS so it's especially formidable when the two schools cheer together as one during Nationals and other competitions. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

                Hi jtoh,
Saw on the calendar that the yr 3 are going on OBS trip for the week.

How was your DD this morning? Was she excited?
Are they heading to Pulau Ubin? Hope your DD have loads of FUN! πŸ˜‰

                  friendship:
Another feedback, the emcees should check their microphone whether able to produce loud sound. They announced so soft, knowing that an emcee plays an important role to introduce each skit in an innovative way. dd's class won 2nd place.

Some classes put a lot of effort but didn't meet the judges' expectations.
:congrats: to your DD's class on winning 2nd place. Was that the bus stop skit?

Kudos to all the other classes for all their efforts too. Everyone did a fantastic job, coming up with scripts so quickly and delivering it with such confidence. πŸ˜‚

Wow, MummySTay, you're really efficient....already exchanged phone numbers with them. :salute:
