Sent message to form teacher but received no acknowledgement. Strange feeling as in DS's primary school, I would receive responses from form teachers almost immediately. Form teacher is Chinese teacher too. I wrote my message in Chinese just in case even though the admin staff said that messages in English are fine.

Don't worry. There is no lesson today. It is the Student Development Day. They have Consortium Assembly and some games for bonding. Lessons start tomorrow. Hope your boys are better by then.

Yup.. my DS updated that no studying today.. they were split into their consortium and met up with their form teachers. Not much happening today. So, your DS didn't miss much.

Officially, lessons will start on Wed (11 Jan). They are to pack their bags based on timetable given to them today.

No lesson tomorrow (Tues) as well. They'll be spending most of their time in the auditorium tomorrow - listening to more talks. Oh yes, they'll be dismissed at 2:30pm tomorrow - staying back for CCA Orientation.

Above are what I gathered from my DS.. hopefully I (he) didn't miss out much.

Wow! :salute: Your DS is great! Taking such detailed notes! I checked with mine again (Ortus).. and seems like nothing of above have been mentioned to them... either that, or he has missed them all out.
