Do any of you know if we want to go back to our primary school on CNY, what time will RGS dismiss?
About 10am -
Hi,
Anyone knows what's CLE1 on the timetable? :scratchhead: Tks.

MummySTay:
Hi MummySTay,
Dun know when the opportunity will knock again, so must seize the day!Tinkerbelle:
Yes, it was indeed nice to mingle with other parents from the same class .
Wow, MummySTay, you're really efficient....already exchanged phone numbers with them. :salute:
Or...typical Kiasu parent?
Your DD signed up for trials already?
keke....good networking!
Yes, DD already signed up for a few trials that she's interested in. Trying to encourage her keep her options open and explore new sports & activities too. What about your DD?

Me too. :)
Me three. :evil:MummySTay:
There are lots of opportunities to bond. Throughout the year there'll be little inter-class competitions which encourages the girls to work together. RGS is really fun in that way.

Gotta say that DH and I are very happy in view of our experiences with RGS thus far. We know that our DD is in safe hands.
Glad we have not made the wrong choice to send DD here.

En-joy:
Hi En-joy,hi Tinkerbelle, i have order thru the website, i like the fact that there is onsite support, which means I dun have to run errands shd the computer has problems
DD has dsa into rgs, so she has no cca trial to worry about.
last sat, took down 4 parents' contacts, so as to confirm any admin matters.
today dd came back and shared her angmo english teacher is very humorous and good.
i feel very assured that our DDs will be in very good hands. the question now is: how much to let go (knowing the coming year's experience for her will be overwhelming), and after holding their hands closely for the last 6 years. :scratchhead:
Nice avatar! What did your DD DSA thru?
Yes, checked out the sapura website and liked the 4 yrs on-campus service support & warranty. Now, just waiting for DD to make up her mind.
I agree with you that learning to let go is not easy, especially when we've been holding their hands for the last 6 yrs. Guess it'll take time and slowly, but surely, we'll have to let go...cos our DDs won't want us to hold their hands anymore with their new found indenpendence at RGS...keke.
In the meantime, we can be their pillar of support as they navigate thru their next milestone. :snuggles: -

Thanks.
DD has also signed up for a few, mainly sports, cos that's where her interest lies.
So she'll be staying back in school on quite a few days this week. -

Thanks jtoh, iNet just indicated to contact teacher in charge, no other info.
Email him. For CCAs which do not require trial or interviews, check iNet to see if there's any info pertaining to them. If not, email/call the teachers in charge.OrangeJuice:
Hi, I need help/advice here.
DD wants to sign up for Science and Environment club, when she logged in to iNET, she noted that for this particular CCA, she needs to look for teacher ic to find out requirements, this teacher is Chad Evans.
Does anyone know how shd my DD get in touch with him? Call him using school phone or email him? Any idea how to sign up for CCA that doesnt require trial or interviews ? Sorry we cant seem to find any info on iNet to assist us.
Appreciate any advice, thanks !
i have asked DD to call him (the number we found on iNet) and she will email him as well (using her personal email account, that's OK ? or is there a way for DD to email teacher in iNET?)
sorry to ask you for help, thanks for taking time to reply me
thank you !

Your dd can just email him using her personal email. Not a problem. It's probably better to email rather than call the teacher because the teacher might be busy teaching classes and won't be in the staff room when your dd calls.
