GreenBelt, I am facing the same challenge as you. Been travelling up and down 2 hours every day just for a 30 minutes session. Keeping my hope and faith that it will improve. My view is, since we already started and it need another 3 weeks to see results, I will go for it.
As for the cost, I think in all other therapies that I visited, it is about the same price except for Samonas which triple that. I am not rich but the options are limited. -
She is not GreenBelt, but luvmum leh:)

My 6yo went through 2 rounds of 3 wk intensive therapy (30min and then 40min for nxt round cos he protested alot when we first started and i wanted to give him more time (5-10min) to settle down). We’re doing daily home exercises now and I asked his OT to administer the Visual Perception test after his 2 rounds, the results were better than pre-therapy. It might take awhile to see noticeable results.

Hi,
My son went thru 2 rounds of 3 week therapy with Orthovision (1st round was 30 min each, 2nd round was 40 min each.) Zoran claimed there is slight improvement but it doesn’t seem so to me. He still skips words or lines when reading. I am at my wits’ end. Any other therapy that we can try, besides igard? -
Hi Audvis,
How many sessions you have done? My son did two rounds of 15 sessions and daily reading as suggested by Zoran. Although I have higher expectation than what I see now but there is improvement in terms of awareness. For example, he has improve in identifying and looking into details. I guess all these therapies needs a lot of time and patience.
His reading exercise has improved as well but may be what contributes to it is we doing it everyday. -
Hi ktyong, we have done 30 sessions.

What did Zoran recommend next? Home practice? For my son, we doing home practice daily and occasion review by Zoran.

We were asked to try the brain games from Lumosity to enhance the vision therapy.
