      Hi all,

My gal brought back Chinese spelling list in hanyu pin yin. Both English and Chinese spelling are conducted on next Tuesday. I am very glad she enjoys going to school. One thing I don’t like abt our education system is that kids learn Chinese in Han yu pin yin, which I find confusing for the kids. Can anyone enlighten me why there is a need to learn Han yu pin yin?

Yesterday she brought back Maths worksheet n the know yr school worksheet for me to sign.

No sight of English nor Chinese spelling list for 1-7/ 1-5.

DD brought back her 2nd piece of official homework today...HanyuPinyin worksheet.
Kindof worried abt DD's Chinese level now, even though she has attended 2 months of Chinese prep class. The way she pronounce the Chinese characters like ang moh trying to speak Chinese like dat.

Drawing board that she brought to school today has been kept in the school (how abt my recycled bag ley????)

DD said that \"teacher said everyday has to bring the Chinese textbook and activity book\".

DD has her little white board in her bag everyday... necessary meh?

DD has her 1st Jump Jam session this morning in the Hall. Apparently she enjoyed it much.

              Still No English spelling list.
              Brought back
              1. HanYuPinYin spelling list (听写表 1A)
              2. HanYuPinYin worksheet homework (汉语拼音练习一)

              to regtmc:
The Chinese spelling should be just the HanYuPinYin, no need the Chinese characters. According to the spelling list, Chinese characters should be a later stage.

My gal had her English and Chinese spelling test on Tuesday. Everyday she brought back her worksheets (mostly maths) for me to go through and sign. Did anyone subscribe to the national geographic explorer magazine, E Chinese and +venture in maths? I subscribe to national geographic explorer and E Chinese(compulsory), still considering whether to subscribe to +venture maths as it is optional.
