Hi all,
My dd is in P3, any parent with kid of same level? -
Hi,
I have some brand new P3 textbooks to let go, please pm me for detail if you are keen. -
My dd will be transfer to P3 at Keming nxt year as we moved near to keming. I am told that she will be at 3Opal. I understand that from p3 onwards, students are placed into classes based on their results. My DS results quite good from previous school.
Can anyone tell me if Opal is one of the better classes since keming donโt name their classes using the conventional alphabetical way. How does the sequence for all the classes goes from best to the worst?
Thanks in advance! -
Hi DS has also joined keming this year and in 3 Amethyst. Have the same doubt as kamponggirl, the best class??? Any feed back. Thanks

Hi! My ds is in p3 this year too! He is in 3 Onyx.
They were placed based on their P2 results. According to his teacher last year, ds will be among the top 4 classes. From the way his classmates were placed, 3 Am is the top class, then Jade, Diamond and Onyx. The teachers will not reveal the ranking but we know our child well.Iโm not sure what placing is Opal though. I find the ranking does not matter, after all our child needs to cope at his own pace. Hope this helps. -
Hi all, my dd is in p3 jade this year. Agree with doublem, the teachers are reluctant to reveal how the students are grouped. Only said it was based on their p2 performance.
My dd said that he was the only one from his p2 class in 3jade. Apparently, many of his classmates went to 3 onyx.
By the way, anyone can shed light on supplementary classes? Are these enrichment or remedial in nature? Quite confused when dd told me that it applies to his wholeclass! -
Hi all, from what I know.. our kids are being grouped according to their English results first followed by Maths results. Chinese is not taken into consideration but affects the overall aggregate.

-
For P4 level, aggregate for Science will be taken into account also.

Is there discipline in the student care or the studnt are alow to roam around the school compound? Any nap or rest time for the kids?
Thank you
