This week is the parent teacher meeting week in school. So stress after the session. sigh…

psle2011mum, you are so great and successful in training your DD. Wish I will be able to say the same when psle is finally over.

I was not stress before joining KSP. After joining, a bit stress. When read this thread become more stress. After a while, don't feel it anymore as it's like part of me now. I am gear up to be a 2012 PSLE mum mentally now! 😂

I am stress too especially my DS schoolmate from the top classes have already completed 2 chapters for each subjects. My DS understand it is a important exam but … We need to support him all we can.

Teacher told parents that this is PSLE year and please do not to book or go on any vacations for Mar, Jun and Sep.

Question for previous PSLE mums or dads - Seriously, is it that bad during PSLE year?

Anyway, I’m planning to go away for CNY and one last long holiday in Mar before we gear up for PSLE. I think to start the lock down now my DS should be out of steam by the time the actual PSLE papers start.

              Hi fifiyeo

Thank you for paying me such nice compliments but really, I am like every other parent here in this forum - we want to do the best by our kids the best we can.

              All the best to you!

I'll probably be soon lurking around the \" Life without Maids\" thread more often, so see you there too 🙂

Hi thanks I will place order and let him do the past year paper. But my poor boy will have to struggle between home work and exam paper

                  Hi Essential,

I was also worried DD no time to do the past yr papers so I hesitated in buying them which cost $65 full set.

I stumbled upon Mrs Wong Tuition's website offering free soft copies of 2011 P6 papers excluding answers. U can buy the full answers for a small sum $2.50. I downloaded the papers and bought the answers.

DD managed to do 1 paper last night. For $2.50, even if she cant finish full set, its OK. Cheap and good.

I got mine in soft copy from Examsutra at $20.

They will give you a link and a password. The set has 12 schools. My DS needs less practice for Science and even less for English. I didn't wanna have hard copies lying around that I might not use. So I have them in soft copy and I print whenever I need. Sometimes, for Math, I administer the same paper twice to train speed, so I can just print again for the 2nd trial.

I've been collecting P6 papers since P4. So now, I have 12 X 3 years worth of P6 papers to pick and choose from. Not all school papers are set well. Quantity does not equate quality. Better have fewer schools and multiple years of same good schools, than many schools from current year.
