Hi all,
dd passed msg or u spoke to tr? my dd din mention about any phototaking...just brought home the dismissal and CNY notices...eskimo:
Oh, in case anyone is not aware, its early dismissal at 6 pm tomorrow.
Dd's form teacher also said that next tuesday, there will be phototaking for the school smart card, and the students have to be in uniform, not pe attire.
Is there any important issues or things to note for these 3 days? Cos my boy is down with fever and hasn't been to school, including today.

Thanks AhBao for the updates about the social studies books.
I wish there was better communication from the school / teachers so that we do not have to bother the teachers with emails. I find the admin part of the school rather inefficient.
For e.g. what days to wear PE attire. Good thing I had exchanged contact nos with some parents or I would not know that the kids had to wear PE attire on PALSD days. This is not something we would have known from the time table. Also what books to bring etc. also could have to mass emailed to us. Alternatively, the teachers should ask that we provide a notebook to our kids and have them write down messages to be relayed to us rather than rely on a 6 y.oβs memory.
Other schools are doing this and it is a matter of common sense. Wonder why not done here. Am I asking too much? Sigh⦠-

I think different teachers do it differently. My kid's teacher informed parents through letters about days where PE attire is required, what to bring, what she is going to keep in class, what books are out of stock, etc. And we can ask her to help us get the books that are out of stock. the kids can borrow $ from her if they forget they bring their pocket $.Thanks AhBao for the updates about the social studies books.
