For 1C, the form teacher gives newsletter to my DS on every Friday. So far, we have received 2 newsletters for 2 consecutive week. Not sure, if this pattern remains until end of the year or just a temporary while waiting for pupil diary.

For early dismissal, the school informs my hubby via sms.

Wonder why? if there's a way to change this, i would rather that i get the sms and not him. Apparently, he had assumed i got it too and he din mention it until just now!

I think they have some system for such mass broadcast, can't be doing manually right.

I wonder if any parent heard anything else about the character alive event? Nothing was mentioned so far by the teacher. If the child has to dress up in both the characters from the chinese and english story books, does it mean they have bring the necc ‘clothes/props’ to change?

The child has to dress up for both, Mother Tongue & English.

For 1C - English, the children can dress up & can say 5 or 6 sentences about the character that your kid has chosen.

For 1C - Chinese, the children can dress up & may bring the chosen book so your kid can show it with their friends.
