Crystal Poh:
DH's school also closed down....
Hi Dorisp,
I have sent an email to MOE asking them what can I do instead. If they say no, I might go to my MP. Dunno whether it will help or not.[/quote]
We didn't explore further
All the best to you and hope you succeed in registering your child into the school you want!
:please: -

I am considering the two under phased 2C within 1km. You?zakashi:
Yes. ACS
Hi! Zakashi,
I'm wondering whether there's more chance for junior or pimary within 1km this year.
Btw, which one r you going to register, junior or primary and which phase will you be registering? -
Hi! Zakashi,
lolol
same here -
sglady:
my son is registering for ACPS under P2A this year. U need to monitor the vacancies left after P2B and then decide. Even during P2C, u need to monitor the vacancies available on an hourly basis before determining which one to go to - u live in between ACJS and ACPS?zakashi:
Yes. ACS

Hi! Spikey,
Yes and thanks! -
Hi hope i am posting in the right thread. I want to ask if the balloting exercise is based on Phases throughout the 3 days? As in 2A for 1st day, 2B-2nd day, 2C-3rd day…Does it kinda work like that?
Reason I’m asking is because I was hoping to go to a school nearer home which is 2C for us instead of a ‘sure-fire’ 2A (old boy) which is pretty far away. I was wondering- supposedly if I don’t make it for the ‘2C school’ - would I still be able to make it for the 2A one?
Hope what I’ve tried to say is understandable! Please advise - thanks! -

Nowaday, in P2A (old boy) sure be confirm in and there is no balloting. If u r going to P2C then u have to withdraw from P2A. But if u fail in P2C, there is no way to go back to P2A (old school). U will be going to P2CS that is left some vacancies for some 'unpopular school'...Hi hope i am posting in the right thread. Its gd to enrol in P2A 1st and monitor the situation when in P2C. -
mummy of 3:
I agreed with mummy of 3, except the point on P2C unpopular school. The schools that have vacancies are not unpopular, they are just relatively less popular. And being less popular doesn't mean that they are not good.

Just to share, i will register my DD for Ngee Ann under Phase 2B and monitor Tao Nan during Phase 2C despite she is qualified under Phase 2B for both schools. At least i am assured of a place in a nearby school within walking distance.
