Swimming lessons will start on the 6/2 and end on 16/4. Mon, Wed n Thurs 7.45 - 8.45am ard 80 students each time. I guess it will depend on which day the kids will be hvg their PE lessons. I heard it will be at Safra Mount Faber. With 80 of them it will be a challenge for them to bathe n be back in school on time for recess!!!! -

U are right! I usually packed a bread or something for him so that he need not queue for food when back in school for recess, save me some time...
The kids will wear school Tshirt and short over the swim suit. Let them have a small bag to pack their towel, goggle and water bottle (dun need any float) cos they wont be carrying their school bag to SAFRA.
If I recalled correctly, they will ask for parent volunteers to help out. If your kids cant swim and u r worried, just drop by 1-2 lessons to see how they conduct...That was what I did. Aft that 2mths + swimming, he still cant swim:< -
Wow 80 students handle by 1 Coach? I think the entire SAFRA shower facilities might not be able to handle.
Maybe the school should construct a swimming pool instead of the Indoor Sport Hall. -
I have noted in the calendar that there are somethings that I am unfamiliar with :?:
CL - Chinese language or something else
?????
Mar 19 - Mar 30 - there is a MT fortnight. Can anyone enlighten me on what is this? Dont rem hvg it before. -
Can anyone enlighten me if the CL workshop and Maths Olympaid workshops are they held o/s school hours ? If yes, for how long per session?
Need to make transport arrangement for the kids! :frustrated: :faint: -
I think the class size is about 10 students/instructor. They don't really get to bath, just rinse their body.

I saw the monthly notification mentioning abt the Vitamindz booklets…Does anyone have any idea/information to share? I check the website( not sure correct one or not), it seems to cater to P4 -P6 rather than P3.
Do we have to buy the booklets on our own or the school will get vendor to come in? Anyone knows abt the cost?
The reason for asking that DS mentioned that some of his friends already have the Onsponge assessement book recommended. -

Onsponge was used for the best 2 classes. You can't get them at the bookstore like popular. It is sold only online. My friend went to the school bookstore to chk...they said they dun take order olri. I am waiting for the teacher to give instruction when to get the book. I think the school will not ask the kids to get them online...school should collate the orders and order from supplier directly. So, check wht ur kid is required to get the onsponge in the first place. Of course, you may want to get it to practice at home. It is a tough Math assessment, used by many schools.I saw the monthly notification mentioning abt the Vitamindz booklets...Does anyone have any idea/information to share?
