DS goes to bed at about 10pm on somedays. Most of the time so far is before that. This is the reason I won’t have DS stay for suppl classes this year. If you work it out, even going to bed at about 9.30pm leaves our DC with only about 9 hours of sleep. Children really need sleep to grow well.

        Essential:
Good morning mummies , the paper will be delivered to home today. Anyone can share how you allocate time for all the exam paper. By when we shld complete the CA 1 paper ? School exam start from 24 feb . Shall we finish it before 24 feb?

For my case, I started the ca1 papers during the last 2 weeks of dec holiday last year knowing that it will be difficult to nail him down to practice on those papers. We managed to do about 2 papers each for every subjects during the holidays. Now that school opens and things start piling up, I will be lucky to have him do one paper in one day. Normally I will break the paper into 2 parts to finish within 2 days during the weekdays. On sat & sun, our target is to finish at least 2 papers for any subject he favors πŸ˜‰ hence, it may not be realistic to finish all the papers before the ca, but having say that, it would still be possible if your dc does not spend a lot time on supple class, cca trainings & tuitions.

We just concentrate on learning Chinese 成语,谚语,词ε₯ during holiday. Now we concentrate on Chinese compo & English compo. Every week he busy with homework after back home from CCA & supplementary classes.
No exam papers as school will get them when the time is right. Don't wanna stress him now.

Kids need to get adequate hours of sleep at night which is approximately 10-11 hours of sleep. Adequate sleep allows the kids to concentrate better and again more mileage in their revision.

My ds gets to bed by 10pm and wakes up at 6.30am. Very difficult to get him to sleep earlier due to hw. sigh…

Yes G Tan, true. They can get ready fast but these kids really take their own sweet time to get ready.
