      Hi ngbrdad !

How is your ds in ACS!.. He must be busy and enjoying himself there?... Cny coming ... Time to relax a little bit.. šŸ˜‰

Hi Vlim, my DS is enjoying himself in ACSI.
We have a private facebook group for the parents from his class. Good to get information and news.
They will be having an extra day of holiday on 25/1 for CNY. Apparently this is an ACSI tradition. So may take that in mind when planning future CNY holidays.

How is your ds getting on in RI ?

Ngbrdad, great to know tt your ds is enjoying himself in ACSI.
Ds also enjoy himself in RI and yet to know how busy it will be when cca starts.. šŸ˜‰

Same same here .... Have u mommies gone to set or Colour or perm hair for the coming cny šŸ˜‚

Ahh...so your nephew is in sec 1 too. Welcome to this thread. We're all here to learn from one another and at times, to de-stress as well.
Care to share with us which school your nephew is in? Doesn't his school have lockers so that he does not need to lug his heavy books to and fro?

How cool is that! Was it iniated by parents? or the school? It'll be great for exchange of information among parents. Seem ACSI parents are more sociable and willing to take initiative.

The facebook group idea is a good one. How did all the parents manage to exchange contacts?

Nah, lockers are meant to keep things the kids don't want the parents to see, so not much use to reduce the bag load. DS always say he need to use all the books and material in his bag everyday, so there is only an increase in bag load, never reduction until I do a \"pasar malam\" on him. Now in Secondary school, cannot do liao.
