I do feel stressed reading some of the posts here...in fact at one stage, I avoided reading academic stuff...then when I felt calmer, I returned to reading a little. With son in P6 this year, I really feel sucked into a big dark hole...not knowing what to expect as months go past and nearer to June and then the REAL thing in Aug :frustrated: :imdrowning:

Yes, at times can feel the stress after reading some threads relating to academic and I wanna :siam: ..But am thankful there are very nice and helpful parents here who encourage and give valuable tips and I really benefit a lot :snuggles: :grphug:

Me, too. Cannot follow exactly what she had done. I have 3 kids, so not much time for each. Sometimes, they do have supplementary lessons and when they reach home, still has school homework.

Not easy to juggle time with 3 kids...am having problem handling 2 as it is. When son was in P5 last yr and daughter in P1, focus was on older one with that mindset that P1 is not crucial. Neglected her and results were not up to mark :frustrated:

Oh yes, I'm guilty of something...walked to Popular last night and bought some EPH assessment books on promo.

P2 is important too as next year most school will separate them according to results in p2 . Usually the top 2 classes got the best teachers as far as I know. But I understand that P6 is more important because of PSLE.


Do not worry too much. Just do your best and at the same time learn to relax and have some break time for yourself too. This applies to me too if not I'll go crazy...... :yikes:
