Euler is not an Math Olympiad class

participants in Math Olympiad (eg SMO) is more than the Euler cohort size

all Math Club members take part in math olympiad competition

and all Euler members join math club

Euler is a pullout class for math but Euler members take the same EOY exams as the rest of the cohort for benchmarking purpose

Galileo is not a pull out class but is an enrichment class on top of regular science class

Thanks for e detailed info, vsk2010. So e boys have to stay back if they r in e Galileo program?

the Galileo boys will be given the whole year's DETAILED schedule of when to do what

Just learned that ds class has 6 mainstreamers - the rest GEPers.

Ds said he's asked to go for bridging class tmr - together with 5 others who are also mainstreamers. Wonder what they do there.

I think all mainstreamers have to attend... If I am not wrong ...

only for mainstreamers who are interspersed in the classes which have GEP-background students

basically to find out whether they need help to be at the same pace with the GEP background kids in the same class

they will be told what they have not done yet as a non-GEP students and if they need help, help is available from the teachers

there will be periodic meet up and feed back until the boys are confirmed no problem adapting to the GEP pace
Thank you, vk2010. It's comforting to know that mainstreamers are not left alone to :imdrowning: .

Good for you, Ms Tay! I think the child will learn better if he finds his learning environment enjoyable and fun to be in. šŸ™‚

Anyone has any problems getting the HCL 1A workbook? I didn't get it last year because it was not mentioned in the booklist. Now that the teacher requires it, I've been to many Popular Book Stores but it's out of stock. They told me nationwide.
