      Astee Foo:

      Hi Rejoice.

Ah ok..i see and i think i know which other competitive school you guys are talking about now for all your DSs. πŸ˜‰

Yes, i had see TGPS Senior coming back to school, donning this sch uniform as they are now studying in the secondary level of the school. So do not feel despair if your DS did not gain a place in the primary level. Guide them well and one day, it will be a dream comes true... :please:

      Wishing all an enjoyable weekend.

      Cheers,
      Astee
Hehe, Astee, somehow your reply was included in your quote. Haha, now I am not sure if putting my kids in a competitive school is a good idea. Within a stone throw away from my place is great. But if DS has to be stressed to maintain high standard with lots of homework, I rather he enjoys his childhood and be adverage πŸ˜„. So it could be a blessing in disguise that DS did not get in at the first place (or sour grape πŸ˜‚ ). Glad that DS enjoys his school everyday and makes some good friends. Also happy that he has minimum homework to do during weekdays so that he can still be a child and play. And I get to know all the kind parents in this forum because of him.

          Hi Tanglin & Ching,

I am also staying with 1km away from TGPS; which block are you staying?
we are also due for 2012 registration πŸ™‚

we are still thinking whether to send our DD to TGPS or TVPS (because of their inhouse AFC)...

            TVPS is Townsville?

We visited AMKPS, TVPS and TGPS (last). AMKPS gave us the impression that discipline is good. We witness the kids gathering for assembly and it was well conducted. But the school seemed to be undergoing construction then so we gave it up.

            Liked TGPS envt best πŸ™‚

Any idea whether there will be some sort of CNY celebration this friday and if school will end early?

Btw, does any parent here have the school calendar of events for term 1? I need to know the dates for the parent's workshop and meet the parent's session so I can submit my leave applns early. I lost the calendar :slapshead:
