Can I check if MA is good? What do they cover in class?
I almost put my DS there, was pondering over MA vs Phonics.
Eventually put my DS in phonics class as I find he is lack of basic foundation of word blending/building.

As for Chinese enrichment, recommended one are either berries or Tien Hsia or Han...

My girl just started with MA beginning of this month, every sat, i tried not to stress her first by asking too much on whether she like it or not. But so far what i observe from her actions, she's quite happy and enjoying her session very much. MA do give them story books to bring home to read every alternate week and they have a file which has all their completed worksheets inside.

I enrolled her at the MA's JP branch and coincidentally TH has a branch just beside. But I'm not quite happy with the counter staff, when i asked for more information the lady just pass me a schedule list. -.-''' maybe they are just too popular....

My DS went for MA trial before and he likes it alot but eventually I still decided to put him in phonics class to build up his foundation first.
I do like their idea of letting kids borrow the books fr their little library.

thank you![/quote]Currently my DS is in Berries Bishan... this branch is v crowded and hv vv long waiting list.. but i thk it is becos of the centralised location.... esp there is no berries in Yishun/AMK/Toa Payoh/Thomson area so everyone nearby goes to Bishan...
I thk ultimately it is still one's luck if they get a good teacher..all the centres hv the same notes as they r franchise but it still boils down to having a good teacher to execute a good programme... :rahrah:

my girl went for TH for 1 term and dropped as she did not like it. Berries long waiting list. Been at the list for 1 year but still no slot for her.

My DD1 was without diaper for a year plus.. but duno y.. end of last yr.. she started wetting her bed.. since den.. i haf been wearing diapers for her in precaution.. as she share the queen size bed with my ds..
