The name list which were somewhere at p178 being deleted is it? possible to re-upload again?


Someone mentioned that class 109-113 are mainly high scorer/GEP/MEP students. After 3 weeks, manage to gather some info here and there. Most of top scorers from neighbourhood schools who enters RGS will be posted to one particular class. So far there are 5 neigbourhood sch top scorers in that class.

classes 110-113 are doing chemistry first, whereas class 101-109 are doing physics. why do they differentiate in such a way? this is clear cut that at the end of the year,those 10% of cohort qualified for MOE edusave scholarship will be from these classes.

Just a Correction. 101 to 105 Doing Biology this Semester.
Think the Sch spread the Resources for the 3 pure Sc. 1 Sc per semester, then Rotate to the Next in following semester.

From What I Gather, All Will be Completing 3 Sc by Mid year 2.
Then Everyone will Go on to Do CSI - Crime Scene Investigation. Interesting, Right?

I'm wondering why you think that the top scorers will come from certain classes based on the science module.

Also, I don't think the school posts the girls based on whether they come from neighbourhood schools. Which class in particular are you referring to? Also, my observation is that a lot of the girls in RGS ARE top scorers from their schools, neighbourhood or not. So it wouldn't be surprising to see 5 top scorers of neighbourhood schools in one class. Because probably everyone else there is a top scorer or near top scorer too.

Hi Friendship, i also dont understand your comment re the moe edusave scholarship (see blue highlights) ? care to elaborate and share ? I thot if you score 260 and above this yr, you will be getting the scholarship for the next 6 yrs (of course subject to performance at schol too). Thanks !

Hello, I just wanted to share in case anyone here hasn’t gotten the Mac yet. I just go a Mac Air not part of the RGS Sapura deal, and it’s SGD $1288 Mac + USD $60 iWork. I didn’t purchase a warranty as it wasn’t very comprehensive. Today I brought the Mac to ICT department to configure for the school Wifi - you’ll get kicked out of the school’s Wifi otherwise. We’re using laptops for some classes also, though it doesn’t have to be a Mac, and such instances are not often. However, based on what the teachers have said so far, other than the free Wifi configuration to school network there doesn’t seem to be anything else we need. Anyway, what do I know since I’m not doing 1:1. But I hope this helps anyway.

In my opinion, our girls are already in one of the top schools in the nation. That in itself is already a remarkable feat!

In my opinion, our girls are already in one of the top schools in the nation. That in itself is already a remarkable feat!

Everyone starts on a level playing field in sec 1. The past is now History. Nobody cares what you scored in the psle nor which school you came from, and I think that should be the way.
