Btw, ooioo is a Daddy, not a Mummy. It's in his profile.
Just saw that he stays in Bukit Panjang.

Maybe can consider car-pooling with parents living in the same area.

Do you want to try this other option I have for you although I am not sure if the driver will do and if the timing will be better.

Hwa Chong / NJC / Nanyang Girls will have morning buses bringing the students to school. you can check with these transport company if they will take your DD and if their timing works out better than your current arrangement. These schools have slightly later start time in the morning. the only con is I am not sure what sort of insurance coverage there will be.

I have the Hwa Ching transport company number if you need. For NJ and NY girls you can contact their general office to check. Let me know. Don't fret so much, actually in no time, you will see your DD settled into the routine and all will turn out fine.

Good luck and Happy CNY to all!

                Hi ER,

Thank you so much, you are so kind πŸ™‚
I have consider this but I called NYPS instead, but the bus operator told me that they will only send NYPS student first then my girl, and they are quite sure RGPS will question them as they are not the school Official bus operator.

Just a fact to note, comparing NYPS and NHPS, RGPS is the nearest to my home, but both NYPS and NHPS bus operator pick up students at my place at 6.05am and 6.15am, as compared to RGPS 5.40am

                Distance Shortest Pick up time
                to longest
                RGPS 5.40am
                NHPS 6.15am
                NYPS 6.05am

Then go for it,your DD gets 30 minutes more sleep time daily. Just have the bus drop DD near the main gate. That's where I drop my DD every morning as it takes too long to turn into the school and out. There is a short flight of steps up to the place where parents wait during school dismissal. It is very safe.

                    ooioo,

Suggest that u check with nyps bus operator on the estimated timing yr dd will reach rgps.

Another issue to note is, the drop off outside of the sch during wet weather, yr dd need to be ok with it.

Fyi, the traffic conditon outside of rgps is really bad during wet weather. Can nyps sch bus gets to rgps on time?

So think thru and hv a chat with the nyps bus operator.
