Good morning, managed to teach DD1 4 out of 8 spelling words yesterday. Spelling is tomorrow. Good if she can learn another 2 tonight. Didn’t manage to do anything during the visits. Literally rot for two days.

Yesterday my girl seeked help. So I went, her letters so big so I told her is big, then she started to cry. She had no patient to listen what I am trying to say. She said she knows what to do.why she behave like this? She said u r not T. I said mummy is the first T to all kids. She can't accept.sometimes she listen to me and do the assessment books.yesterday she got tired. But at times it happen. I just worried. Next year p1. How to overcome this? Why she behave like this? Very sensitive and imotional person. :roll: -

I would approach that what Teacher teach is correct, and for we (parents) will enhance and improve you on what teacher teach.
For letter written too big, can try indicating that as study goes, the space between the lines will go narrower and your girl will have a hard time to fit the letters into it. So big letter save it for big paper and drawings, while small letters for writing and sentences forming. If there is any exercise books or notebook, you can show the space sample to her.
My DS is also very emo..only explaining to him, his goldfish eyes will squeeze out droplets of tears..like taiwanese show. Hiaz..
Last of all, practice with exercise book or notebook for penmanship..it helps.
