<but i thought those Longman books are assessments books and not guides? :scratchhead:

Imagepsst...i also have My Pals and Ultimate 😉> by jedamum

Saw your post, the accelerated science revision guide and process skill under longman has revision notes before the questions and answers whereas the weekly companion does not have the revision notes. So I treat them as guides too.
(Sorry, I do not have the first one which is white in colour.)

I used the top school papers in place of assessment books. Hee Hee.

Anyone 'opened ceremony' for that new title 'nail those mcqs' yet? I seemed to have a little phobia :gloomy: for science assessment of late.

          Hi Janet! :snuggles: :hugs:
I did not get this new title; in fact I did not get any new Science assessment nor guide books for DD1 P4 this year :siam: Am controlling as last year bought a number and should be able to cover for the lower block bah! 😉

DD1's Science T, who happened to be the HOD, recommended parents to use the following book which she feels is more than sufficient to last thru till PSLE :skeptical: :scratchhead:

I have yet to get this book :moneyflies: :moneyflies:

I bought that orange guide first, followed by ultimate…but son prefers ultimate…maybe bcos there are experiments. Keeping some of the lower block science as daughter is going to p3 next year…no point starting son on p3/4.

Was told by someone in popular that the orange guide goes into reprint every year, ESP near PSLE.

the orange guide alone is not enough. i bought both the ultimate and orange guide at the same time. they are always used together when we have any questions...we usually use orange guide first then ultimate; to compare the clarifications and also because ultimate has more details. 🙂

Ah yes, maybe that was the other reason why I bought ultimate PSLE...on top of being KS. So much was praised about ultimate that I took the plunge by getting 2 science guides within 3 days. Hubby couldn't understand why I did that...naturally I got nagged at :moneyflies:

OT...but you should let your hub know that 2x guides cost lesser than 1xScience enrichment/tuition class lesson. 😓 that is how i convince myself when i was queuing up to pay for all the assessment books 😓

                        Hi Jedamum,

I saved myself the trouble of explaining to him...now he is using ultimate to check out concepts :imcool: but looking back, who will know which guide to get, especially when I am a newbie at science.
