      ksi, concern2,

I concur. Like Wat2GO said, let's cut her some slack.

It's not that she was a gold digger or scheming to rip some rich old guy's fortune or something :skeptical: .

I actually feel sorry for her, being in this limelight, its only a matter of time her identity is splashed all over for all to see.

Let's get real, many people do out-of-scope tasks to help their job/career in certain industries. Excessive entertainment sometimes get carried away. Who is to say which party is the instigator ? As ksi said, she could be too weak to resist, could be worried about her job, her target, etc. Dont forget, she just switch company from US coy to Japan coy, so maybe under a lot of pressure, etc.

I am not condoning her actions, nor the men's, but I think she will come off very much worse off from this incident. She has children to take care of as well, so ...... let's cool it.

The key issue here should be what the government do to set a good example from this incident. If they were just having EMA, ah gong will not get involved, but now... to entice with small contracts that they can control ..... these 2 men are toast, imo.

Morality n ethical issues aside, cut her some slack.
She has suffered gravely too in dis revelation on more than one front - CPIB, public scrutiny n condemnation; privately she has a lot of explaining to do to d father of her 1 yo.
Some in d msm oredi know her identity.
Give her some breathing space, please.
I m more interested in d gahmen play behind dis episode.

        ksi:

As it is we have been assuming she seduces them all these while but have you ever considered the advances were made on her and she was just weak-will not to resist too. Don't forget she is pretty, a prize for many men. Again strength of character fails in temptation for her if she gives in. Don't forget also men love to hunt, not hunted. So being a victim is probably not something they would welcome the thought.

:goodpost: Finally someone has spoken my thoughts..

Glad we share the same view of different possibilities. We read what the journalists want us to read and most times we do not have all the details. Keeping an open mind help these people through their most difficult period. The law is already taking care of it, mindless words may mean nothing to us but a lot to an individual. I do not know any of these people personally and I feel it is unfortunate that things have turned out this way for wrong decisions made along the way. I must say I am also more forgiving towards crimes that do not hurt others terribly but hurt themselves more.

          Regardless what is said.

The people who deserve our "sympathy" most is the wives who thought their men were faithful and working hard to give their family a good life, the children who thought their fathers were great men but only to realise that they are unfaithful and probably corrupt? The parents/ family that have been proud of their sons/ brothers. Imagine seeing the headline news everyday and the entire Singapore knows about that. It doesnโ€™t help that the story is only beginning to unfold.

I concur. She nor the men are the innocent partiesโ€ฆ The wives and children are. Imagine the shame they carry with them when they go to school or work, through no fault of theirs.

I am also interested in the final outcome of the investigations to determine if there are loopholes on power enablement for contracts signing to prevent future occurrences. If the signatory rules can be mitigated and improved, it would make it hard for moment of wrong judgement to occur.

If convicted, I suppose this is a good demonstration of absolute power can end up in corruption and not paying huge salary packages. I am sure both men are superscale wage levels so money is not the concern considering he contract is only $350k.

This is character building process for them. The thing that does not break them makes them stronger. And this is the best time for them to know who their best or better friends are, may not be a bad time to weed out bad ties.

When things not in their span of control and not their fault and clock cannot be turned back, make the most positive learning experiences out of it.

                      women = woe.men = woe to men

I was told that is the origin for the word 'women', i.e. woe to men!

or u can take a more positive interpretation:
When Adam first set eyes on Eve in all her naked splendour,
                      he exclaimed: \"Wo, man!\"

My BIL also said that...but then he is a 101% MCP...

We, the wo.man is also very important....
