Can any parent out give me some advise.

We stayed in Punggol and are within 1 Km from Mee Toh school, but i would like to enroll my son to Holy Innocent which is about 4km away from my house. Reason why i choose HIPS is there is a after school care just opposite the school. We are not impress with the after school care that is just 2 block away from my house.

I intend to do PV for HIPS and using my parent address (within 2km from HIPS) to register for my son. Not sure if i use my parent address am i still consider to be under phase 2B?

Should i just enroll for Mee Toh or try my luck on HIPS. From past yrs both school to ballot in phase 2C and in some yr there is no need to ballot under phase 2B for HIPS, even if ballot is necessary it for >2km.

Mee Toh does not have PV scheme, so will only be in phase 2C.

Hi, phase 2 B is regardless of your address. As long as you do PV, you are under phase 2B. The distance of your address from school only come into play when the phase you are in needs balloting ie. If vacancies less than no. Of people in that phase, then within 1km will get priority, followed by 1-2km and lastly >2km.

Is there anyone here who has volunteered in Temasek Primary? Can u pls tell me how is the selection criteria like? Do you have to attend any interviews? Are there any specific skills they r looking at ? When will they inform us whether we are selected or not?

If u stay 1-2km from ACS, i think ur chance is 0%...
