          Hi lostbunny,

you can go to the school and buy it from the school bookshop if you want. Just have to go thru the security and admin. Better do it before the school holiday starts. Like you, I did not get it during 21st Oct, actually I did indicate to the staffs but they forgot to give it to me on that day. The buddhist study textbooks is not available in popular as they are publish by SBF. I just bought them yesterday.

          Cheers.

Hi MMM snd Baong, thanks for the info.

I also indicated to the staff that I want full set of the books. Think they overlook also and I also forgot to check after that.

ummm… I see if I can get them on 28 Dec when I go for the orientation. From now till 28 Dec, don’t think I have time to go over to buy them.

I don’t think they will do buddhist study during the 1st few days of school. I recalled that this year, it took them a while to start the lesson eg. when kids settle down.

So if you can get it on the 1st day of school, it should still be in time. I am assuming that they’ve stock. Otherwise, let me know. I should have extra. I should have 2 sets of P1 buddhist text book.

                Thanks MMM,

if i know that I wouldn't be so KS  .

Btw, lostbunny, I think you better check if the bookshop is open on orientation day. Coz last week is the PSLE marking week and there is no school so the bookshop is not open for a week.

Hi MMM, thanks. Will let you know if I can’t get the buddhist textbooks.

Hi Baong, yes, the booklist says can get the books on the last few days of Dec. Can’t remember the exact dates but 28 Dec is one of them.

                    Hi,

all parents of MBS, could I just check if P1 students are asked to take CCAs in school? I would like to enrol my boy to some enrichment class which will take place on weekday mornings. Not sure if he is required to take CCAs in school. Do you think its alright to call the school to check?

                    Many thanks in advance!

HI, most of the ccas will start to enrol kids from p3. However there are a few that start as early as p1 such as choir.. U could call to check with their general office :celebrate:

                        Hi,

My P1 is taking wushu this year. My P2 is taking basketball and school band. I think P1 can also do band,etc... it's up to them to select. Don't think it's compulsory but if kids want to join, it's fine.
