Hi! Need to clarify something. I heard that the maximum number of RA subjects that a pupil can take is now 3, no longer 2. Is this true? Thanks! πŸ˜„

At the recent year 2 level briefing on wed, we were told that the max RA subjects a pupil can take is 2. However, pupil may apply for 3 RAs.

It should be very hectic to take up so many RAs right ....
Any idea.. How many of yr1/2 boys enter both Euler and Galileo programme?..,, πŸ˜„

I think 2 RAs is already a lot to manage, in addition to 3rd lang for some students, plus CCA, leadership commitments etc.

What is the criteria for applying for 3 RAs?

So I guess, to apply for 3, simply be top 15% of these 3 subjects. If pupil is eventually offered all 3 after all the interviews, he can choose only 2.

A student can apply to take the tests for as many RAs as he qualifies for. What I meant was, if after the tests he was offered more than 2 RAs and wishes to study 3 RAs (rather than the recommended limit of 2 RAs), what criteria must he satisfy? Did the school mention this?

The impression I got from the briefing was tt the max is 2. And no more than tt. We were then told tt to find out more, we should ask our RA qns at the RA briefing to be held later part of the year.
