Hi mameno
:thankyou: for the link!
I was just wondering this morning when is the MA's dates...
Have to start revising soon, 1 more mth to go! :rahrah: -
Any idea what are the topics tested and the format?
-
Hi marmum
I rem'ber last yr (P1), the students were given a notification of what topics/areas were being covered/tested before each MA.
I guess we will just hv to wait for that.
Meanwhile time to dig out the assessment books and past yr papers...

actually does the kids really need to do well ? Just pass can already liao right as they are only Pri 1 ? hee…
BTW, if fail how ah ? Got penalty ah ? -
I thk they would recommend for the extra lesson guided by teacher at 11am…
I’m so worried, as will be a lot of hassle sending -
Yes I remember last year they gave a topics to be tested. Hopefully they will give this year too… Chinese AA is next week…any1 knows whether there is English AA this term or next term?
I also find it funny that only p2 and p6 have term 1 ma and ca. seems like the rest of the standards do not have. -
Hi mamemo,
Your child p2? When did u rec PN on chinese AA? I didn’t rec anything except the recent newsletter that state MA1 on 27/2 onwards .
Cn share when the AA date ? -
Hi geogi, yes, my boy is in p2.
The notification abt the Chinese AA is glued to his tingxie book.
Date is anytime next week.
The teacher will get the child to talk abt lesson 1-3 of the Chinese textbook.
Eg like sharing own experiences etc. Think they are testing their Chinese conversation skills. -
Hi mamemo
Thanks for sharing!!... I also did not know abt the Chinese AA.
As usual my DS never told me anything...
I thk I have to start search his bag upside down everyday besides just looking at the Pupil's Diary & A star file...
Btw do they have any oral tests? I dont seem to recall anything fr P1, just the show-and-tell at the later part of last year. -
Hi ilovechubby,
No problem, just sharing what I know.
I think the AA is the 'oral test'. Similarly, the show and tell was one too.
Maybe your DS's teacher haven't gave out the note yet.
Your DS will surely share with you cos parents need to sign on the paper.
