HiThat's the answer given. But my dd chose \"have travelled\".
May I know why it is \"travelled\"...thanks!
Good Morning.
Let me give it a try.
They (travelled/have travelled) for many days till they reached the border of the country.
“till they reached the border of the country” is an adverb clause. You may read more about adverb clause by following this link.

“till” indicates up to that time. It shows the end point of a journey. Hence, based on the context in your question, “travelled” is the more appropriate choice.

Good Afternoon.
The question setter presents the past state of Wilbur wanting to buy an X box.
The word “but” shows there is a contrast in the sentence.
Next as we read on, the question setter explains that Wilbur didn’t have enough money.
Thus, I’d go for
Wilbur wanted to buy an X-box but did not have enough money.

Hi
I did some reading from Practical English Usage.
This is my understanding.
In time ------- with enough time to spare: not late
On time ----- punctual
The manager wants the presentation to start exactly on time.
The baby would have been delivered in the taxi if Alice hadn’t rushed to the hospital in time.
Hope this helps.

Can I please get some help on these questions:
1) One of the girls (has/have) made an apron
2) This pair of bangles (is/are) made of pure gold.
Sincere Thanks,
Jan
