I have a Neoflam frying pan and the ceramic coating doesn't seem to be as non-stick as when it was new. I wonder if HCP also has this problem?

Hi angell, HCP does not have this problem. I am wondering if u have greased ur pan and then heat it up 1st before your 1st use. This is to season the pan.

Think most stores now giving away at least 1 sealer as a free gift.
The sealer is the red colour thingy around the pan to trap the heat and hence to create the pressure inside the pan.

Wear and tear to happen, hence the sealer needs replacement in the months or year to come. No need to buy extra sealers since most store giving out FOC as gifts.

My point of view. I bought the largest, as 3 meals are cooked at home.
Fully utilised it. Just treat it as a normal 'non-stick' pan, but of course it has more than that But it is heavy thou. :skeptical: :shock:

If you've been using a non-stick pan, then it is not much changes other than the weight. But if you've been using the traditional wok, it is a big change...no more big fire and stir fring freely :sad: :sad:

Hi Zann,

How many people are there in your family? For a family of 3 adult, basic is enough . But I choose Ocher deeper pan as it is 2cm deeper than basic. Good for cooking gravy food like curry and stew.. can boil some veg soup in it too. Plus Ocher pan is with 5 layers of cooking as compared to the basic 3 layers of coating only.


For info:
Red colour pan with 3 layers Ceratinium Coating - Ceratinium Coating (Ceramic & Titanium Coating) for low nutrient lose cooking & shorten cooking time, more resistant to abrasion & corrosion coating.

Ocher pan - Coated with 5 Layer of Ceratinium (Ocher Deeper only) plus Ocher (Loess) which is for better food tasting, health and stronger prevention of abrasion.

how do we know if it is version 1 or version 2? I’m quite blur at Gmarket. So many listing. Which one should i choose for a family of 5? My neighbours are all raving about it …
