Horizon is 1 of my choice as it has a after school care. Can any parents comment on the after school care? Does it also need balloting?

Dear Kiasu Parents,

I’m having headache choosing a primary sch for my girl. She be going to pri. 1 next year. Can someone advice which is a better pri sch? Horizon pri(1.13km from hm), Greendale pri(1.34km from hm) or holy innocent pri.(my husband is a former student)? Acutally already decided to go holy innocent cos my husband is a former student but suprisingly quite a number of negative feedback from friends. I sincerely need advice from Kiasu parents… Thank you…

As the demand is high for the after school care service, priority will be given to both work parents with no other help from family members/maid. Have not heard about balloting.

So far we are please with the service provided.

DS just started P1 this year, and I have no other basis to compare with other schools, but we are please with the teachers and their regular feedback about DS progress.

They know how to manage the kids very well and show concern about the overall development of the kids not purely on results.

I can't comment about holy innocent, but for the other 2 schools I will go for Horizon pri. Comparison base on what I gathered from my friend on his DS attending Greendale and my son in Horizon.

Sorry, can't help much but at least reduce your selection to 2 schools now. I hope.

Anyone can share about the after school care, what would the kids be doing there? What time suppose to fetch our kids? Is it like childcare hours, by7pm ?

So far ,I'm satisfied with Horizon pri school teachers.Quoting an example, in the 3th week of Jan 12,my girl's form teacher called me around 5 pm to show concern to my girl as she was accidentally pushed by her classmates when she was queuing outside classroom.
