Net rumour that Yaw Shin Leong having extra-maritial affair

I just read it from our local famous social-political website that WP MP Yaw Shin Leong is involved in a under table affair with his WP team mate Angela Oon and the latter is pregnant. This is a little shocking to me because Yaw Shin Leong is 斯斯文文.


According to the informants, some of whom are from the Covenant Evangelical Free Church (CEFC), a certain Mr Yaw Shin Leong, core member of a prominent opposition party has been sleeping around with a married female member of the same party named Angela Oon and has gotten her pregnant.Mr Yaw Shin Leong and his wife reportedly sought counseling with Reverend Dr Chua Chung Kai of the CEFC after the affair came to light, in a bid to save their marriage which was on the rock. Both Mr Yaw Shin Leong and his wife worship at CEFC.

Definitely it will not affect my support if the candidate running in my constituency is good.. As the saying goes, \"Shu da you ku zhi\".. cannot discredit the whole tree bcoz of a few branches right..

And the YSL stepping down from the leadership prob is also to prevent dragging the whole party down bcoz of him alone.

Also, not everyone feels that ema is a big deal that affect their support for an MP.. let alone a party.

EMA is personal affair.. the party does not have to be accountable for it's member's personal action.

corruption or criminal offense like harassment is different story.. the party have to be accountable to the public, bcoz the public's interested is at stake.

The WP is not discredited by YSL's affair, it is discredited by its handling of the affair (in my eyes).

I thought you will not believe this rumour until some big brave soul comes forth with sordid photos of the couple romping in bed as 'evidence'? Have you changed your mind?

Agree 101%.. Our social moral fabric is thinning. Worried about our future generation. Will EMA be so rampant that nobody bats an eyelid? :sad:

Will people be measured only by their capabilities and success, and nothing else..I shudder to think.

ysl is guilty of the affair from his resignation. frankly, i'm disappointed with the way they handled this crisis. it was not a big deal as it is personal life, but it is a big deal now by side-stepping the issue.
